Performance Requirements
Airtightness Performance: The airtightness of the ventilation door must meet the Grade 8 requirement of the GB/T7106-2019 standard, meaning the air infiltration rate per unit area is ≤1.5 m³/(m²·h) under a pressure of 10 Pa.
Watertightness Performance: The watertightness can achieve the Grade 6 requirement of the GB/T7106-2019 standard, preventing rainwater and other liquids from seeping in.
Wind Resistance Performance: The wind resistance performance can meet the Grade 9 requirement of the GB/T7106-2019 standard, enabling it to withstand strong wind pressure.
Material and Structure
Door Frame and Door Leaf: The main frame of the door is generally made of steel profiles, providing sufficient strength with firm and reliable welding. The thickness of the door leaf is typically no less than 4 mm.
Insect Screen: Usually made of 10×10×1.5 mm galvanized steel mesh or stainless steel mesh profiles.
Grille Design: If the ventilation window includes a grille, it should be constructed from 16×16 mm square steel profiles, with individual grid dimensions not exceeding 250×60 mm or 120×130 mm, and welded using a staggered vertical-long and horizontal-short equal division method.

Installation Requirements
Mounting Method: The ventilation window frame is fixed to the wall using expansion bolts ≥12 mm (spaced ≤500 mm apart) or by welding to pre-embedded steel plates, ensuring a secure connection between the window frame and the building structure to prevent overall disassembly.
Sealing Treatment: Gaps between the window frame and the wall are filled with fire-resistant sealant, ensuring both airtightness and fire resistance.
Opening and Closing Methods
Double-Leaf Swing Structure: Ventilation windows typically feature a double-leaf swing structure, with one leaf secured by a lockable latch on the interior side. This design facilitates easy opening and closing while providing excellent anti-theft and protective performance.
Single-Leaf Door Structure: In some specific cases, ventilation windows may also adopt a single-leaf door structure.
